I guess they prove my point that there are no new Audis anymore. They are just re-warming the same design over and over.
This looks pretty much like the current model.

They dare not offend. The TT isn't really an interesting car, though, so this isn't that bad news.
Is this also MLQB-based? (is that even the right acronym?)

This guy looks really grumpy. I guess he was hoping to get assigned to the R8.

"They are just re-warming the same design over and over."
You realize you are talking about Volkswagen Auto Group right?

Would you prefer this?

If they really wanted to throw people off they could have added some R8 style side intakes, and make everyone think they're making a baby R8.

I WOULD!

It's sitting on the current Golf/A3 platform, so my guess is that it's still before the actual MQ-something cars.

The one you're thinking of is MQB, or the front drive transverse mounted engine.

MQB, in case you were wondering.

Can't decide if Spock or Charlie Sheen.

The current TT wasn't that revolutionary either, right?

Golf Mk 7 and the A3 (8V) are both on the new MQB platform. The new TT should be too, despite having almost the same bodywork as the current one.

Very few automakers right now aren't doing this.
e.g. Lexus added a grille, sure, but the looks are very similar to last gen.
